Meyer emphasized that allocating 3% to 5% of assets under management in cryptocurrency can make a substantial difference in investor returns. He suggested that anyone looking to enhance their ROI should consider adding these digital assets to their portfolio.

This news comes amid a crypto bull cycle, with Bitcoin’s price surging over 146% in the past year and trading above $65,383. Meyer’s comments underscore the potential benefits of diversifying investment portfolios with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether.

Bitcoin has also outperformed the S&P 500 index in 2024, with its price rising over 47% year-to-date compared to the index’s 15% increase. On a yearly basis, Bitcoin has outperformed the S&P 500 by over six-fold, showcasing its strong performance in the market.

However, Bitcoin’s price is currently experiencing a correction due to slowing inflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Recent data shows that ETF investors have been selling below their initial cost basis, leading to negative outflows from Bitcoin ETFs.

Despite the short-term correction, the long-term potential of Bitcoin and Ether in boosting traditional investment portfolios remains promising. As the crypto market continues to evolve, investors may find value in diversifying their portfolios with these digital assets to enhance their returns.
