Solana-based meme coin Dogwifhat (WIF) has emerged as the top performer in the cryptocurrency market, outshining even Bitcoin with a staggering 1,300% gain since December 2023. This Shiba Inu puppy-inspired token has taken the market by storm, surpassing approximately 70 coins with market caps over $1 billion.

According to Forbes, Dogwifhat has secured its position as the leading performer in this group, with a market cap exceeding $1 billion. Close behind is Pepe (PEPE) with nearly 800% gains, followed by Floki Inu (FLOKI) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) with impressive increases of 418% and 67% respectively.

While meme coins like Dogwifhat dominate the spotlight, other tokens outside this realm have also shown remarkable rallies. Ethereum’s token (ETH) is up 51% and is expected to see further gains with the full approval of the spot Ethereum ETF market. Binance Coin (BNB) has surged 81%, outperforming Bitcoin despite regulatory challenges faced by its former CEO.

Dogwifhat’s market cap has made a notable recovery, reaching $2.1 billion and securing its place as the 54th cryptocurrency in the market. Pepe follows closely behind with a market cap of $5 billion. However, Dogecoin (DOGE) and SHIB remain the largest meme coins with market caps of $17 billion and $10 billion respectively.

Other coins like Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and Floki have also outperformed Bitcoin, showcasing impressive gains in recent months. At the time of writing, Dogwifhat continues to rally, trading at $1.899 and showing a 14% increase in the last 24 hours, although it remains 60% below its all-time high.
