Triangle: TON Foundation’s New Startup Accelerator Program

The TON Foundation has announced the launch of a new startup accelerator program called “Triangle,” in collaboration with Sign and 1inch. This initiative aims to enhance the crypto ecosystem within Telegram and The Open Network (TON). Triangle brings together key players in the blockchain industry, including the popular Telegram-based game Notcoin.

The primary objective of the program is to drive Web3 adoption by leveraging Telegram’s large user base and TON’s increasing prominence. Triangle will focus on developing user-friendly applications and innovative “tap-to-earn” mini-apps. With a strong lineup of mentors and a clear vision, Triangle is poised to have a significant impact on the blockchain startup landscape.

The accelerator program will support projects that improve TON’s user experience, create “tap-to-earn” mini-apps, and develop consumer applications that bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3. By onboarding millions of users to Web3 in a seamless and user-friendly manner, Triangle aims to capitalize on Telegram’s extensive reach.

Notable mentors involved in the program include Sign CEO Xin Yan, 1inch co-founder Anton Bukov, Berachain founder Smokey, and Layer Zero lead Max Power, among others from the TON Foundation and Notcoin. This collaboration comes at a time when TON’s native token has gained significant market capitalization, ranking among the top ten cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, recent developments on the TON Network, such as the addition of Tether (USDT) support on Binance, have caused price volatility for TON. The network has also witnessed a surge in high-value transactions, with transactions exceeding $1 million dominating the on-chain volume. These developments highlight the growing integration of blockchain technology with mainstream platforms and the potential for further expansion of the Web3 ecosystem through user-friendly applications.
